- A refundable key / breakage deposit is payable upon arrival at the resort, the amount can be confirmed by contacting the resort directly. Please note that should this fee not be paid, occupancy will not be granted. Please note that the Key and Breakage Fee is payable upon arrival to the Resort directly. This fee is not payable to the Reservation Company, as it is a Resort function. Please note: Keep dogs on a leash at all times when out and about the resort. Please clean up after your dogs. Failure to do so will result in a R1000 Fine being imposed. There is a R150 gate fee payable on Arrival. Please note : Although there is a wheelchair friendly unit, the resort grounds can be very uneven in places making movement over the area difficult. Please contact the resort for further assistance in this regard. PET POLICY: Please advise the resort in advance when making your booking that your dog will be holidaying with you. The resort can then prepare for your arrival. Upon arrival, please show your dog’s current inoculation certificate confirming your pet vaccination within the last 12 months. The resort asks that all guests register their dogs at reception on arrival. You will then be issued with a collar marker so that staff can see that your dog has been registered and is formally on site. The resort has a limit of two dogs per chalet. There will be no exceptions. The resort permits a maximum weight of 40 kilograms per dog. To keep your dogs comfortable, the resort asks that you bring along your bedding and feeding bowls for your dogs. The resort does not provide these or allow any resort crockery or linen for this purpose. Under no circumstances are dogs allowed to access the bedroom areas of the chalets, nor are they allowed to climb on any piece of chalet furniture. Dogs are not allowed in the main building or Boma at any time. Although your dogs may be on their best behavior, the resort needs to accommodate all guests in areas serving food. Dog owners should follow the rules of the nature reserve and not remove leashes at any time. When onsite, dogs should always remain on a lead no longer than 2 metres in length. Their owners must always control all dogs. Guests should carry dog waste bags which are available for purchase at the onsite store so that they can dispose of any mess their dog may cause in the receptacles provided. The resort will ask badly behaved dogs and their owners to leave. There is a charge of R100 per night per dog. A refundable hospitality deposit of R1000 per unit is payable for the duration of your stay for a maximum of two dogs. Dog owners failing to comply with the ‘Pet Policy’ will be subject to an additional minimum charge of R1000. The Pet Policy does not apply to guests traveling with registered Service or Working Dogs. The resort sometimes encounters dogs that have not been socialized with other dogs, even when they’ve been traveling with their owners for a long time. Please be aware of this fact, in the best interests of all concerned. Please also ensure that should your dog not be sociable, you warn other dog owners should their dogs approach yours. Please note that specific chalets have been allocated for guests with their dogs, please ensure you confirm the correct chalet number. Group Bookings Notice: Please note that should you confirm 2 or more chalets at the same resort, for the same period, that this will be regarded as a Group Booking. Over and above the Standard Terms and Conditions and Resort Rules and Regulations, the below will also apply to all Group Bookings: 1. Before confirming and paying for your Group Booking (2 or more chalets at the same resort, for the same period), it is your responsibility to first contact the relevant Reservations Company to obtain approval from the relevant resort for the Group Booking. Should the resort decline the request for the Group Booking, the reservation will be canceled with immediate effect. Should the resort grant approval for the Group Booking, the relevant Reservations Group will assist with the payment and confirmation of the reservations, and all additional Group Booking Terms and Conditions will be explained. 2. Group Booking gatherings are not permitted in one chalet. No more than the prescribed number of guests per chalet will be permitted in the chalet. 3. Communal / Boma areas / facilities are available at most resorts. Please contact the resort directly after confirming the booking with the relevant Reservations Company, to book the areas for Group Bookings. Please do note that this will be at an additional cost and managed by the relevant resort. 4. No parties / loud music / disruptive / abusive behavior will be tolerated. Non-compliance will lead to immediate eviction at Managements and / or Security’s sole discretion. This decision is final, and the Group will be requested to leave the resort immediately. Should the Group be evicted from the resort, or occupation not permitted, neither the Reservations Company, the Resort, nor the Managing Agent will be liable for any form of compensation / refund. 5. Additional Group Booking forms must be signed by the main member upon arrival at the resort. Should the main member fail to sign the said indemnities, access will be denied, with no compensation / refund given. 6. The Key and Breakage deposit is payable per chalet confirmed, and not per Group.
